"Cocoon - chair"

"The  world  was  so  recent  that  many  things  lacked names,
and  in  order  to  indicate  them  it  was  necessary  to  point."
G. G. Markes

The chair was inspired by book G. G. Markes "One Hundred Years of Solitude" & course named "speaking furniture" in FH Dortmund 2009.

The idea was to make a piece of sitting furniture, somehow reflecting an inspired piece of text, to without blinding following it, to catch and show some big image.

My Image is reflecting an idea of a big family-tree, with every individual member,

who exists in it's own world,in his own solitude.

Each cocoon grous and dissapears in a while, memory is not holding it's too long.

The world, the tree is standing is literaly new, white, blind, fresh,

like clear pages of a book, nothing is written on.
